Once again our annual ultrasound course in Ponte Vedra was a great success! Participants got an early start on the Clinical Decision Making in Emergency Medicine symposium by honing their ultrasound skills at our pre-conference course.
Nationally recognized faculty joined course director Bret Nelson in covering critical care applications of ultrasound, including:
- Rapid Ultrasound in Shock/Hypotension (RUSH)
- Cardiac ultrasound
- Pneumothorax assessment
- Central and peripheral venous access
We are grateful to Petra Duran, MD, RDMS and her residents for arranging the logistics of the conference. In addition, Anthony Weekes, MD, RDMS, RCS, Vivek Tayal, MD, and Joseph Wood, MD, JD, RDMS who rounded out our all-star faculty.
