QTip: Patients with new neurologic deficits that present outside the reperfusion window or with unknown duration of symptoms may have a time-sensitive dangerous condition other than acute ischemic stroke (e.g. intracranial hemorrhage) and should be considered for expeditious evaluation +/- neuroimaging.
