Dr. Shefali Trivedi attended UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School (now referred to as Rutgers New Jersey Medical School) graduating in 2006. Dr. Trivedi completed her Emergency Medicine residency at Mount Sinai, graduating in 2010. She served as Chief Resident in her final year of training. Prior to joining the Emergency Medicine faculty at the Icahn School of Medicine, she held the title of Core Faculty at Good Samaritan Hospital and worked in the community at Florida Hospital Waterman. Dr. Trivedi is currently an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine, the Mount Sinai System Clerkship Director, as well as the Mount Sinai site director for the fourth-year Emergency Medicine medical student clerkship. She also works closely with the Icahn SOM by teaching various courses at the medical school. Her interests are in medical education and specifically in burnout in medical students.
