Megan Stark Claypool, M.D. is a resident at the Mount Sinai and Elmhurst Hospital Emergency Medicine Residency Program. She earned her medical degree from New York Medical College, graduating with distinction in Biomedical Research. Dr. Claypool was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honors Society and the Gold Humanism Honors Society and received the Department of Emergency Medicine Award, which is given to a graduate who demonstrated the greatest interest and proficiency in the field of emergency medicine.
Dr. Claypool’s current professional interests encompass Administration & Operations, Disaster Medicine, and Wilderness Medicine. During medical school, she made advances in these areas through research, simulation exercises, and advocacy at the national level. Her involvement in these projects deepened her dedication to fostering innovative practices and promoting preparedness in emergency medicine. |
