Dr. Luan is currently a resident physician in the department of emergency medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. His training is primarily split between Mount Sinai Hospital and NYC Health+Hospitals – Elmhurst. Beyond general emergency practice, Dr. Luan is interested in expanding the breadth of patient care offered prior to admission through further integration of medicine and critical care services. He looks forward to pursuing research in critical care and general operations/flow within the emergency department.
Dr. Luan completed his undergraduate education at Stony Brook University and pursued his medical degree at the Norton College of Medicine at Upstate Medical University. Growing up in Queens, NY, it has always been a goal of his to return home to serve his community. He considers the opportuntiies provided at Sinai to advance to his career are second to none, I is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to continue his training here. |
