Dr. Cara Brown is an Assistant Professor in Emergency Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital. She graduated from Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in 2008. She went on to complete an Emergency Medicine residency at Baystate Medical Center in 2011 and an Ultrasound Fellowship in 2012 at New York Presbyterian Queens (formerly New York Hospital Queens). Prior to joining the Emergency Medicine faculty at the Icahn School of Medicine, Dr. Brown held the title of Director of Resident Ultrasound Education in Emergency Medicine at Staten Island University Hospital, Northwell Health. Her current interests include Emergency Medicine ultrasound education and research. Dr. Brown is an active educator within the Emergency Medicine Ultrasound Division at Mount Sinai.
