Visiting Students

Visiting students that are interested in rotating at Mount Sinai and Elmhurst are encouraged to apply for this 1 month acting internship. Applications are taken through the Visiting Student Learning Opportunities (VSLO) portal at AAMC.org/VSLO. For updated requirements, please view the Elective Details of the “Emergency Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital” elective.

Visiting Electives Program for Students Underrepresented in Medicine (VEPSUM)

We invite 4th year medical students from groups underrepresented in medicine (Black/African-American, Hispanic/Latino, Native American/Alaska Native, and Pacific Islander/Native Hawaiian) to apply for a scholarship sponsored by the Icahn School of Medicine Center for Multicultural and Community Affairs through the Visiting Electives Program for Students Underrepresented in Medicine (VEPSUM).
