Daniel Estrada is an Emergency Medicine resident at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. Prior to medicine, he served for over a decade as a United States Marine Corps officer and AH-1W Super Cobra attack helicopter pilot, leading Marines in multiple operational assignments and deploying to Iraq and Afghanistan in support of combat operations. He graduated from the United States Naval Academy before earning his medical degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. His professional interests include emergency medicine, critical care, EMS, and wilderness medicine with a commitment to applying the leadership, teamwork, and service cultivated during his military career to the care of critically ill and resource limited patients.
