A few new educational resources

June 24th, 2009 at 6:46 am by Nick

Some free time has let me catch up on some site additions I’ve been meaning to get to –

- From my recent airway elective, I’ve posted some videos of intubations using various devices — navigate over to this folder (all residents should remember the journal club password by now) and peruse the videos of direct visualization, the hilarious Pentax AWS demo, and more. There’s also a folder marked LMA, full of videos and tips for placing, well, LMA’s. These videos should all be playable on quicktime and can be downloaded to your iPods, though a few are pretty huge.

- Not only are MP3s available of Dr. Joe Lex’s recent lectures under the ‘conference’ tab — he has made the slides for his talks on asphyxiation and radiographic contrast available as well. And if that’s not enough for you, he wanted you to have free access to many more MP3’s — just peruse the list in this folder to see talks he and his fellow speakers gave at a recent European conference.

- The long writeup of my journal club, on other approaches to common ED pain complaints, is now available. Your comments, as always, are welcome.
