Simulation Sessions 11/26

Bing and Dr. Okuda are putting together more exciting, interactive simulation sessions, and Dr. Ula Hwang and the US faculty have developed a hands-on training for the upcoming femoral nerve block study.
It all starts at 9 AM, with a guest lecture from Beth Israel faculty members Dr. Saadia Akhtar and Dr. Knox Todd on the FNB study.
Then we’ll break into groups: Junior residents will go to sim sessions, and faculty and senior residents will go to stations to practice the the actual FN blocking procedure, as well as femoral ultrasound (on a live model). After that, we’ll switch.
