June 29th, 2008 at 12:17 pm by Nick

Hello everyone,

Thank you to those of you who passed up Ponte Vedra or new jobs to come to conference this week. Many thanks to our resident speakers, Matt, Shefali and Bing, and to our faculty presenters — Dr. Spina and Dr. Nassisi. Also thanks to the neurology department for their participation in our joint conference.

Below are some topics from conference that for which I found more resources, or that I just thought warranted repeating.  Feel free to add your own thoughts in the comments section.

NY Philharmonic

June 20th, 2008 at 8:51 am by Nick

Please join us for a social event in the Great Lawn of Central Park, this Tuesday night at 8pm, when we gather to hear the NY Philharmonic. There will also be fireworks, food and an opportunity to meet the new residents who are joining our program.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with the Park, the Great Lawn is between 79th and 85th St. Once you arrive, look for the “Sinai Blue” balloons, or call Evelyn or me (Nick) to find our exact location on the Lawn. Our cell numbers are in the last email. And please RSVP if you haven’t already.

The Philharmonic’s program features Tchiakovsky, Mendelssohn, and Sousa. Lots and lots of Sousa.

Hello everyone,

We had an enjoyable conference this week. Thank you to our resident speakers, Sheler and Shawn, and to our faculty presenters — Dr. Ginsburg, Dr. Strayer, Dr. Weingart and Dr. Andrus. Also thanks to the cardiology department for their participation in Sheler’s joint conference, and to Sohan, our graduating conference chief, who was on hand to lend his expertise with AV and other issues.

Below are some topics from conference that I wanted to touch upon — stuff that struck my fancy, really. Feel free to add your own in the comments section below.

Blog Updates

June 14th, 2008 at 8:19 pm by Nick

Prompted by this persuasive song, I’ve posted some new items to the SinaiEM.org blog. There’s a recap of Sohan’s excellent journal club on the PERC rule validation, and some useful links featured in recent senior talks.

Be sure to check the ‘blog’ tab frequently in the coming year.
